My Silver Spangled Hens

Daffodil and Dewdrop turned one this month. 🐥🥲 The two silver spangled hamburgs I hatched last winter are officially adults!

Sometimes, I can’t believe I hatched these babies in my tiny apartment bathroom. 😋

They came from the very first batch of eggs I incubated. I used to Om 🕉️ to them when I was turning them in the incubator. I still pick them up and go “Ommmm”, with hopes it comforts them!

I love all my chickies, but there’s a special bond when you incubate. Iykyk.

It seems like just yesterday our living room was filled with tiny chicks hopping around amongst our kitties. 😌

Although I’m not hatching any eggs this year, I am planning on getting a few older chicks in a few weeks! Stay tuned. 🥰
